AM & Sons Construction Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced concrete finisher to join one of our residential and commercial flat work crews. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and able to work alone or in a crew. High quality work needed, candidate must have great attention to detail.
This position is full-time permanent for the right candidate. Benefits package offered after probationary period passed.
Some typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- use of hand and power tools
- setting up forms and laying rebar for sidewalks, driveways, garages, etc.
- follow blueprints and check form work
- operating walk behind power trowel and hand trowels
- finish a variety of residential and commercial flatwork projects (broom, exposed aggregate, power trowel, stamp)
Wage negotiable, depending on experience. Minimum 5 years experience in finishing concrete.
Successful candidate must have:
- a phone
- valid drivers license
- own PPE (steel toes, hard hat, high vis gear, rubber boots).
- own hand tools
MUST BE A CURRENT CANADIAN CITIZEN.
AM & Sons Construction Ltd. is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated concrete flatwork foreman to assist in hands on leading and prep work. Must be confident in form work and set up abilities, able to lift heavy material, and work in a physically demanding environment with tight timelines.
This position is full-time permanent for the right candidate. Benefits package offered after probationary period passed.
Some typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- directing labourers while being a hands on leader
- following plans to set up forms, base, rebar for sidewalks, driveways, garages, etc.
- pouring concrete
Concrete experience definitely needed - at least 3 to 5 years. Previous experience in a similar role needed.
Starting wage is negotiable depending on experience.
Successful candidate must have:
- a phone
- valid drivers license
- transportation to and from work
- their own hand tools
- their own PPE (steel toes, hard hat, high vis gear)
- Rubber boots needed for concrete pour days.
